Some are inclined to music , some of them like Art and so on. Passion has driven me here as well . Today let’s unveil the aesthetic journey of an artist whose passion has driven into purpose.
Yes, we are talking about the most prominent Artist and Art Educator “Bala Nivetha” whose passion has been a driving force since childhood who is the Brand Ambassador of the famous art and craft retail supplier “Itsy Bitsy” . An art lover from Salem who was creative and keen to learn art since Grade 8. She has been showcasing her potential by participating in various Competitions in school and colleges. She emerged triumphant after winning the competitions in various levels in school, district and state. She started her journey in college by creating impressive artifacts like painting , jewelry , name plates and marketing them at her teens which exhilarated and encouraged her to learn different art forms from paintings, texture paintings, resin art to Russian sculpture painting.
Bala, was more inclined to creativity and hence has pursued her education in Fashion Designing from ‘Kongu Art and Science College’ in Erode. She got more fascinated in the art form of Russian Sculpture Painting. An obscure form of art in India in which she became proficient, she not only upskilled her self but also inspired other’s too by taking workshops in various part of the cities in India like Chennai, Salem, Bangalore and Hyderabad. Being a student of her workshop too, I could see that as an educator she had great potential and her workshops are from basics so any beginner can grasp them quickly. Her patience is mind blowing and the way she gives the details in her workshops has inspired many to learn the skill and make them as a profession. Be it the materials used, the strokes, the techniques and tips will make your workshop worth it.
“Haldiram” the famous Indian restaurant have their branches in Bangalore and Hyderabad for which they offered Bala to create masterpieces for their restaurant . She created a unique artistic venture for 4 outlets in their Hyderabad and Bangalore branches keeping in mind the culture, architecture of the cities , including the famous cuisines for the particular cities. She has been offered commissioned work for the nearby Cafes and food Outlets. She also embarked her journey as an interior designer creating magic in their homes with her creative artistic venture.
When asked Bala about her workshops , she mentioned that she has taken numerous workshops in different locations Chennai, Salem, Bangalore , Hyderabad and many more. She has inspired many minds with her creative art through online and offline workshops and is continuing to do so. It’s still fresh in my memory that many individuals had joined workshops to get out of stress and they were ecstatic about the way the workshop panned out for them as a stress buster.
An icing on the cake for Bala’s artistic venture is that she has a studio of her own in Salem and has an art gallery in the studio. Bala, being a very humble and down to earth personage states that the best project so far is yet to come , because she believes that we need to keep refining and upskilling and that keeps her motivated to accomplish more. She always gears up to learn an art form that is going to evolve and so when asked for future insights on which art form she would explore now, she quickly chuckles she is going to imbibe the various art forms together and start her adventurous journey on the Mix Media art .
